Decode London is a partnership between Ryan Malone and Giles Massie-Taylor which was formed in October 2007 to showcase the talent of London based creatives and to promote it on the world stage. Taking inspiration from London, they look to bring together many diverse elements with the vision to present a unified collection of progressive design that echoes the creativity of the Capital.
Working with a diverse cross section of creatives, the focus is always on representing an idea in the form of a product whether this is through aesthetic, function, material or process.
Building relationships with up and coming as well as award winning designers, they embraced a collaborative approach to ensure that designs have relevance both aesthetically and functionally. Fundamentally each designer represents and aspires to influence the future of modern design and lifestyle through the principal value of quality in design, material and production.
In their first year Decode London has experienced great reaction to the collection and unifying aesthetic that the brand has created. This culminated in them being awarded the title of “Best New Design brand” at the British Design Awards 2008 hosted by Elle Decoration.
